What is the reason for hostesses being annoyed/upset for a guest stripping the bed after they use it? Is it just bec they’d rather the room look neat until they wash the linen?

Yes, I don't appreciate guests stripping the linen because I don't always wash it right away and I don't want the linen to be all crumpled in a pile till I get to it.

Same. And due to space constraints, our guest room doubles as my husband’s home office. He needs it to look neat in the background of zoom calls.

This. Who needs guests seeing the sweat stains and rust marks? (Though there's an easy solution to that. It called a new mattress cover.)
