Hi! My baby is 7 weeks old and I miss her silky newborn cheeks. They became dry and scaly now, could be coming from the cold or from the steam. Any good moisturizers out there that actually help and are safe for babies? I moisturize her with mustela after every bath but it doesn’t seem to be doing the job. I’m thinking of just applying coconut oil, anyone with experience or any other recommendations?

Plain Vaseline is best
There are no scents or additives
A little bit goes a long way
Massage it in few times a day especially after bath and before bed

I use Aquaphor Baby Healing Ointment - Advanced Therapy to Help Heal Diaper Rash and Chapped Skin

right after the bath

Cetaphil Baby 2-in-1 Hair Shampoo And Body Wash - I found this one to be the best eczema

Don’t use coconut oil or anything “food-like”.
I’ve heard that can be an issue in terms of causing allergies.

I use earth mama cream for baby face. Keeps the skin butter soft. I don't like using chemicals for such little babies and I like this brand cuz they use natural ingredients.
