Keep the earring in, put bacitracin on both sides of the hole.

I just got DD’s ears pierced. She told me that if there’s an infection to call her immediately. That there is a cream or drops for eyes that helps really fast. Ask your pediatrician.

I got 2 additional earring holes last summer. They keep getting re-infected every time I have to take the studs out for mikva. I just spray alcohol on the holes with the studs back in afterwards, front and back every time that happens and it clears up in a few days.
