I have an extended warranty on a dishwasher. The warranty company is sending over a technician to repair my dishwasher, so hopefully no additional out-of-pocket cost for me. Am I supposed to tip the technician?

I would tip if they need to move an especially heavy piece of equipment or they do something out of courtesy that's not included in the job.
