I dont have a rav to ask.

I heated up meat in my oven around 1 pm. The meat was wrapped in a single wrapping.

I then cooked rice at 8 pm in the same oven. Rice was single wrapped. Can I eat my rice with cheese?

Or is there a rav in Brooklyn which takes anonymous questions? No husband to ask a rav.

I am not a rav, but I believe that it is not considered Fleisher but also cannot be eaten together with dairy.

I agree with that the others said. Not fleishigs but not to be eaten with dairy.
Also someone posted bais haorah of Lakewood. That is a great resource for you for next time. I call them all the time. Its anonymous dont worry.

I’m 99.99999% positive that what I wrote is the answer- it’s not fleishig, but it also can’t be eaten with dairy.

I think so too, because they were both covered, but I am not a rabbi and cannot make such a ruling.

Definitely ask a rav. Simple answer is can’t be eaten with dairy but doesn’t render one meaty.
But if they were completely covered, that changes the answer. Also, if you have leftover pasta made in a clean but meaty pot, and you didn’t cook the pasta with the intention to be eaten with cheese, you can still eat it with cheese! When I learned this I was so surprised. Maybe this applies to rice as well.

There are different opinions. It’s fine to have with dairy according to how I hold.

My husband thinks its fine, and also you shouldn't be embarrassed to ask a Rav this question. (He is a rav but not a dayan)

I’m going to try to remember to call the halacha hotline tonight and ask them. Now I’m curious.
