workers in Brooklyn. We have been looking for someone to replace our wooden steps, but so far the 4 people we called have not returned calls or given references. We don't want a contractor or middleman. Are you finding it hard to find people to do small jobs or big in your home?

My husband is a handyman (not in Brooklyn) and people can’t find non Jewish workers so of course he and the other frum workers are very booked. He doesn’t return every single call because he doesn’t have time. Because he’s working.
Maybe look into the workers before you call them so you don’t take up their time looking for references.

For carpenter/woodworking try Weiser 718-633-6231. See if he's available.
