I'm hoping to replace my slow cooker as the pot's broken. I hadn't cooked cholent in it for ages because the lowest setting out of three overcooks the meat and makes it tough and rubbery, no matter what type of meat I use. Can anyone recommend a slow cooker in the UK which keeps the meat reasonably tender in cholent?
