Does anyone know if there is any place / puppy breeders in the tristate area that allow visitors to come just to play with the puppies if they don't plan on buying one? Does such a place exist?

Goldschein’s goldens does in the summer for sure, not sure about the winter but you can probably find them on social media and ask them. They’re in Liberty in the Catskills

Before COVID, plenty of puppy breeders welcomed visitors, some for a fee. It's good for the puppies to meet people, and it's also worth it for the breeders because visitors who don't plan to get a puppy there often fall in love with one and decide they might want it. I'm not sure about now.

There is a store in the Garden State Plaza mall (Paramus, NJ) where you can play with the cutest puppies! I forgot the name but perhaps look in the mall directory. I think it requires an appointment.
