I'm wondering in regard to the travel insurance the card is supposed to have, is it worthwhile or should I get additional travel insurance?
Where supposed to be traveling Motzei shabbos and now with the snow forecasted I'm nervous about all the money I paid for reservations, airbnb etc.
Is it a hard claim process and did they give you money back easily?

Not personally, but severe weather is on the list of valid claims.
Good luck

It’s supposed to clear out Shabbos Day, I think you’ll be fine. Worst case will be a delay

I had the preserve card, made a few valid claims and lost all.

The sapphire reserve?
What was the reason for the claims?
Why did they deny it?

We once got stuck in Florida because of canceled flights due to a storm in NY. We were reimbursed for everything. I believe it was through the Sapphire Preferred or Reserve card, I’m not sure.
Document everything. Screenshot emails of cancelled flights, take pictures of cancelled flight numbers in the airport, take pictures of your original tickets and receipts… EVERYTHING you can think of. They asked us for so much documentation, every confirmation receipt and email from the trip.
We had a great extra two days in Florida. We stayed at a nice hotel, ate out, even did a little shopping for things we needed. IIRC they reimbursed us for it all.
