Does anyone have the cookie recipe from Binah magazine that was originally adapted from Passover by Design (Zebra Fudge Cookies)?
I have the PBD, but the recipe there calls for matza meal.
TIA!

Can I have either recipe - PBD or binah? Thanks!
I also have so much potato starch left - What can I do with it?
Hmmm. Off to start a thread.

Never mind ...I got it
I'll post it for you mimi:
1/2 cup oil
3/4 cup cocoa
2 cups sugar
4 eggs
2 tsp vanilla sugar
2 cups potato starch ( I believe PBD calls for 2 cups MM)
2 tsp baking powder
2 cups confectionary sugar
Mix oil sugar and cocoa in mixer. Add eggs. one at a time, mix well after each. Add rest of ing. except for conf. sugar. If mixture seems too thin(should look like peanut butter) add 2 tsp cocoa.
Chill for several hours. Roll into small balls, then roll in confectioners sugar to coat . Place on cookie sheet and bake on 350 for 8-10 min.

I was told to subtract 2 Tablespoons from every cup of regular sugar and add that amount of potato starch and blend in mixer until fine. I haven't tried it but if you do, let me know how it comes out.
