I tried to make popovers from a recipe I got from a friend last night. They turned out very dense. Kindof like baked matzoh balls. I was looking for something more light and fluffy, to put tuna salad or jam onto. Anyone have a recipe to recommend?
Thanks!

Passovr Popovers
from another site but my mom raaaaved about them !
1/2 cup oil
1 cup water
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup matz meal
1 T sugar or to taste
4 eggs
Preheat your ovento 375 and grease a cookie sheet.
Boil the oil salt and water. Add your mm, stir, and allow to cool. Add sugar and eggs, beating well.
Dipping your hands in cold water first, form tennis ball size sphers and place on cookie sheet. Repeat until all dough is used up.
Bake 15 - 20 minutes, until puffy. Turn oven down to 325 and bake another half hour, until brown.
