I thought this said "French toast recipe" and couldn't imagine why you would need a recipe for such a simple dish.

Slice onions and garlic and place on bottom of roaster. Add roast and season with garlic powder salt and pepper. Mix equal parts duck sauce, tomato sauce and red wine and pour over roast. Cover tightly and bake with same directions as recipe above (300, 45 min per lb)
I usually cut it into 2 pieces at this pt. One gets chilled and refrigerated, then sliced and reheated.
The other (smaller part) I bake for about another hour and shred when warm to make pulled beef.

Sprinkle kosher salt over both sides of roast and let it sit
Mix oil with spices of your choice - I use onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, ground black pepper, ground mustard, turmeric, whatever else I have and am in the mood of. Obviously less options on Pesach. Rub into meat.
Broil 15 minutes, flip roast, rub again with oil and spice mix. Keep flipping, rubbing and broiling for 15 minutes until you reach desired internal temperature
Best meat ever!

Found this years ago on a website culinary kosher and it’s our favorite and easy
1 5lb French roast
5 Tbsp crushed garlic
1/4 cup teriyaki sauce
1/4 cup red wine
(I double the teriyaki and red wine)
Shmear crushed garlic on roast.
Pour wine and teriyaki sauce over roast
Bake at 400 for 1/2 hr uncovered. Then 350 2-2.5 hrs.
Cool and slice.
