Use honey instead of sugar and almond flour instead of wheat flour. But ideally, don’t eat cake, use these ingredients for a healthy muffin when you’re looking for something sweet and than rest of the day eat regular meals minus flour. Like rice or potatoes for side dish with vegetables (instead of pasta)
Lunch could be tuna with salad and rice cakes.
Breakfast could be smoothies or almond flour pancakes or eggs and vegetables or rice cakes.
You can also buy brown rice pasta which is not bad.

A few more good lunch options- Falafel balls with salad and techina, spaghetti squash with sauce and cheese, baked salmon with potatoes or sweet potatoes, rice cakes with peanut butter/almond butter/chumus, plain yogurt with granola (made with honey) and fruits

Protein ideas - cottage cheese, tuna, egg, salmon, chicken, meat
Carb ideas - potato, sweet potato, rice, chick peas (I know they have some protein as well), corn, spaghetti squash, butternut squash
Veggies - salads, soups, roasted vegetables

I usually eat roasted veggies with marinara sauce (sugar free) and metaled cheese with one of those carbs listed with an omelette for lunch. Super filling

Dinner is usually a mix and match. Pick a protein, carb, side of roasted veggies and a side salad or soup.

Snacks are fruit and nuts for me. Sometimes a plain Greek yogurt

No honey is not considered sugar free. It is just unrefined sugar. Don't use honey if you need to be sugar free.

It really depends why op is going sugar free. If it's because of something like diabetes or pre-diabetes, then yes, honey is the same as sugar. If it's for other reasons, like gut health, then honey may be totally fine.

It will spike your glucose which I believe you are trying to avoid
But the same as fruits bananas, dates, etc.

For lunches
A big salad with an animal protein leftover from dinner
For dinner
A big salad, a cooked veg, and an animal protein
I make enough at dinner for the next day’s lunch

Try to make meals simple
Sheet pan throw some frozen cauliflower and broccoli, a drizzle of oil, spice.Lay chicken on top and drizzle with oil and spices- And then let it bake 400 until chicken is done

Can you use spelt? I eat spelt bread or crackers and never use sugar in my cooking. Avoid most baked goods although if you can have honey I have a delicious recipe for oatmeal muffins with honey.

Lunch is salad, all kinds of veggies, chummus, techina, eggs, salmon, sardines, chickpeas,
Dinner is any protein, veggies (often in a soup), and carbs can be quinoa, potato or sweet potato, corn, peas.
