What does this mean? Dr said now my daughter is contagious - but she had no fever, and was feeling better so went to school yesterday. She’s totally fine today as well. Do I really need to keep her home and treat it?

Untreated strep can lead to rheumatic fever and sepsis. So yes I would treat.

You already sent her to school yesterday, so today (or tomorrow) is no different.

Doesn’t seem to make sense keeping her home at this point…

You can send her to school after 2 doses of antibiotics. If she gets a dose tonight and a dose before school, then she's not contagious according to my ped.

She already went to school when contagious though, so what difference does it make now? As long as she’s feeling ok, I would send her.
