What next?

Adverbs?
Rhymes?
Another round?

Let's go for something light -
Rhymes sound exciting and fits into Adar.

Perhaps a 2 lines rhyme?

How would u fit it in with A-Z?

Rule here Wink the rhymes have to be made up and comical, funny, hilarious!!!

Should we do do one long rhyme that continues from the poster before?
Two lines rhyme - Each poster continues where the previous poster left off, but she doesn't have to make it fit in with what the previous poster wrote - she can write something totally different, that's what makes it funny also, and her rhyming end words can be a different sound from the previous poster's, otherwise we'll have the same rhyme sound throughout. Or every 4 lines verse should rhyme the same - that means every 2 posters use the same rhyming sound.

Dunno if what I'm writing makes sense, but in the far off hope that it does -

What do you all say
to this game, should we play?
Or throw other suggestions our way
Let's have fun - Hurray!

Sounds like fun
C'mon everyone!
I'm not a great poet,
And yes, I know it

Simcha4, why don't you start
Seems like writing's your art
Choose a rhyme to begin
And then we'll jump in!

Hey, "happytobemom", I thought you wrote that you ain't good at poetry. Well, I disagree.
Thanks "happytobemom" for your go ahead and also for giving me the "honors" to be the one to start.

Hear dear fellow players, I'm not good at starting (in many subjects the beginning is my weakest point) so forgive me if my beginning here sound flat and I'll have fun watching y'all liven it up.

Please remember this game is for the fun and laughter only. Don't sweat on perfect rhyming and rhythm (I, personally, am not good at poetry rhythm as you'll come to see.)
Just let it flow, in whichever direction it'll go....

There was a woman who worked through the night
designing a Mishloach Manos for her boss, 'twas quite a sight
After much thought, worry, and feeling very uptight
She delivered it with her 8 year old daughter, hoping she'd get the address right!

So young Esther took off with pride down the road
While taking great care to balance her load
She knocked oh so softly and waited some more
Began to despair of an answer at the door

So young Esther took off with pride down the road
While taking great care to balance her load
She knocked oh so softly and waited some more
Began to despair of an answer at the door

She was about to knock just once more
when a blood-curdling shriek sounded behind the door
just then a lion leaped from the bushes with a mighty roar
Esther gasped and fainted flat on the floor

Hi everyone! I guess our little Purim poem didn't quite take off...
Anyone wanna go back to the homophone game? Or anything else here?
(I'm a grammar girl, so I liked this one Smile )

This game is whining, "I'm bored. I'm waiting to be played!" Smile

How about we do proverbs/sayings or collective nouns?

eg. collective nouns:
army of ants
school of fish
pride of lions

anyone interested in either?
