DD is going to Camp Sternberg this year, younger pioneers. She has never gone to sleepaway camp before. Are there any items she should bring in addition to the packing list? Also, do the bunkhouses have electrical outlets? TIA!

Yes they have outlets. Maybe only 1 for the bunk, maybe it can't handle too much use at one time. What does she need it for?

Mine is too, but it’s her second year. Am I crazy that I haven’t even looked at the list yet?

I was thinking about sending a small fan, if there are outlets.

Agree about the fan. Otherwise we stuck to the packing list and she was fine (my daughter was in younger last year). Don't forget the rain boots! Also be aware they are awful about sending mail from pioneers, so you may not hear from her for a while.
