just found this in a cookbook:
cut up onion, marinate in lemon juice and salt for a half hour - use as garnish or add spice to other dishes.
even the kid who hates onions gobbled them up and asked for more!

My 5 yr old son LOVES onions plain  , likes lemon juice, and LOVES salt. A perfect combination, thanks, I'll try it.
