I'm not in Brooklyn, but if you want a free baby swing, I have the one my kids outgrew sitting in a closet. I'm on the lower east side, not far from Brooklyn.

There used to be a gemach in marine park for all baby equipment called soralas baby gemach. Sorry I dont have any phone number but it was listed in the jewish press back then.
I got a swing from there to borrow for a few months
