Does anyone have a recipe for an asian cucmber salad? It's usually just marinated sliced peeled cucumbers and sesame seeds in some sort of dressing. Also called sunomono salad (sp?)
I would lov eto make one for shabbos lunch because it's so refreshing, thanks!!

Very simple!
1 english cucumber
3 tbsp soya sauce
1/2 tsp sugar
1 clove of crushed garlic
1/4 c. sesame seeds
slice cucumber in thin rounds..combine the ingrediants and pour on cucumber.
enjoy!
btw-if u r going to make it,I would suggest serving it right away otherwise it gets soft..

That sounds really good but I was thinking of one with more of a vinegar marinade, I've never heard of using soy sauce, but I may try it, thanks!!
I'll try googling and if I see something I'll post it for others. Thanks!

I think you should use toasted sesame oil and a little vinegar, plus the sesame seeds and a little sugar/splenda.
