Costco frozen skinless salmon is so cheap No hechsher but my Rav says a hechsher is not needed. You can check with yours.
No Jewish grocery store will beat Costco’s price.

The last 2 times we bought a large family pack of salmon at Kosher West it was $8.99 a pound. I don't recall what days of the week it was, or if it was part of their weekly specials, but one time was last week, it might still be that price.

According to ou, all salmon is kosher, with or without skin. Check with your rav if you don't generally rely on ou.

I would be worried about purchasing without a hechsher. Although the salmon itself is kosher the knives used might have also been used for non kosher fish or other non kosher items.
I’d rather pay that extra dollar per pound to assure that its 100% kosher.
