Riki Benenfield. Wrote and illustrated the "I go to" series.
My daughter used to marvel how each book the girl and her mother had such trendy stylish clothes and hair/shaitel. The eye for realistic detail is amazing.

I always loved the illustrations for the "Is it Shabbos Yet" book.
We have one peeve. I bought it for my oldest DD when she was 2. There's this one page where Malky is helping to vacuum. There's a visible outlet on the wall, and the vacuum cleaner is not plugged in. At that young age, my DD noticed it right away, and asked why not. How can she be vacuuming if she forgot to plug it in. Duh!

Funny. My daughter noticed that also. But her takeaway was that Mommies use plugged in vacuums, and kids use not plugged in ones.
We had a broken vacuum cleaner that the kids would use to "help" with.
