Usually people hire party planners to set up their vort and they order the hot food as part of their service. There are so many party planners. What type of vort are you planning? How upscale do you want it to be?

Just adding in here that many halls in lakewood have a vort package that includes basic food and decor. (not a photographer and I don't think live music either) These halls do book up quickly in the busy engagement periods so it's worth researching in advance to have a date available. Monmouth Ave Shul, Bais Horaah on Madison and a few others as well.

I’m not from Lakewood, but have a lot of family there. I know nothing about anything, but we have been to vorts at (I think it’s called) rabbi blech’s shul.

There's a party planner that's known to be the cheapest, and she has a choice of locations (based on availability). My niece's vort was in Ateres Yeshaya, and she did a beautiful job. I think her name is Shani Weinman (?).

Most shuls have simcha halls big enough to make a vort. There are dozens in Lakewood.
For practicality most ppl I know do it in their neighborhood, if it's not available they look in other places.

I made a wedding there. It was a gorgeous venue, the food was amazing, and I loved how organized everything was.

Tiferes simcha hall is beautiful. For larger vorts and I’ve even had smaller weddings there.
