Yes. My toddlers don’t like blankets.

Totally normal. My toddler sleeps with a small teddy bear and no blanket.

Toddlers using blankets is one of those misconceptions we have before we have kids, like toddlers listening quietly while you read them a story. 😂 I'm sure some do!

Whew! I am so glad I asked! I was so nervous there- trying to get her to take a blanket and she keeps on throwing it off and I’m like what am I doing wrong here??

I mean, it makes a lot of sense if you think about it. We spend the first year NOT letting them have a blanket, you have to expect that it's a little weird to suddenly start using one.

No biggie, if the kid is cold just put on warmer pj's. Totally normal ☺️

Why would he need a blanket?

I do sleeping bags - the ones with feet when they are old enough to be walking around their cots.

Blankets can sometimes be unsafe! I once walked in to find a thick furry blanket on top of my dd’s head, completely covering it. She was sweating.
Since then I use lighter blankets for her. She always moves around and they usually don’t stay on the full night. I only started blankets at age 18 months- until then I used warm pjs.
