Looking for a very basic chuck and French roast recipes using basic ingredients (no tomato sauce) pref that can be made in the oven.

Cut many onions and garlic. Rub roast with oil, salt, pepper and paprika. Add 1 or 2c of red wine. Cover tightly with aluminum foil. Cook overnight in oven at 225°.
Delicious and very easy.
Optional: you can add vegetables on side. Carrots, celery, tomatoes, mushrooms...whatever your family like!
