The other thread about decorating the sukkah got me thinking - I was thinking about stapling up some of that chiffon fabric someone posted and then I realized our sukkah is plastic! Where I used to live, the sukkah was all made of wood as was EVERYONE else's I know, and we always hung decorations with staples and maybe a couple of nails for the more hardcore. HOW do you decorate a plastic sukkah?! I doubt tape would stay up the whole week...? Mounting tape probably wouldn't come off well, and I want to preserve decorations from year to year.

String up pieces of string along the walls and peg up pictures onto it

And how do you attach the string? I'm still missing it.

Command hooks are self stick and removable (check out the video when you scroll through the product pictures). There are many sizes and hook types, but buy Command brand only.

To hang string, you'd have to hang from the beams up above, across the wall so it hangs down.

Command is kind of pricey...

I'll see about the beams. Hard for me to visualize before putting up the sukkah.

Tie it onto the sechach beams right at the edges of the sukkah.

Our plastic walls have gotten dirty over the years, so I bought a bunch of white sheets on Amazon to cover them. We safety pin the tops, and run string through the pins and the top beams.

Then we safety pin, or straight pin, decorations to the white sheets.
