I have a recipe for cabbage rugalach and it calls for malawach, I am not sure what it is. I looked for it in the freezer section and didn;t find it .

it's kind of like puff pastry but round and less dry. Its yeminite, I don't know where you are but it could be awfully trick to get a hold of out of E"Y

Sabra makes it here in the US. I buy it in my local grocery. You should be able to find it in Lakewood. Here they keep it with the frozen dinners, not the flaky dough.
(I just made deli pinwheels with them last nite!)

Shoprite in NJ sold it in the kosher frozen section when I lived there.
Make sure you really want it: it's full of margerine!
