Anyone know whom I can contact to get my daughter in to Bnos Hadassa for first grade? Who is the owner of the school, who is on the Vaad?
TIA

This year or next year?
Do you know if they have room in the class?
Are there any other schools you'd consider?
I know that the principal is Mrs Leiser and the number is printed publicly 732-994-7333.
The school is owned/run by the Blums but I don't know which one.

Mrs. Leiser left 3 years ago she is no longer the principal.
School is owned by Chaim Blum.
Yes they have extra curricular including GO and performances

School is well run. Mrs Kaplowitz is the new principal. She is doing a great job. Solid hashkafos but not preachy. Kids have a cheishek for yisdishkeit and pride in who they are.
My daughter is very happy. Learning a ton and lots of extra curricular as well. GO is active, lots of extra programs with incentives. Younger grades have music, older grades have gym.
The year Mrs Leiser left was very tough and I was ready to pull out.
BH they are back on their feet. I can say with confidence now that I will iyH send my next daughter here.

Thank you! One more thing, I know they pride themselves on their academics, do the teachers teach well or your kids need to cram? Are your kids finding it overwhelming?

My daughter is still in the middle grades but so far no cramming. Things are taught well. She needs to study for tests but nothing unreasonable. They are having a test coming up on Parshiyos Bereishis through Toldos - they already gave out a study schedule for maximum 20 minutes per day along with a contest and prizes etc. for those who use the schedule and study.

Amother antiquewhite answered same as I would. I guess our daughters are in the same grade. Very grade appropriate studying, a lot of review in school (so far, prob less in the older grades). No cramming.

She did not go to another school. I think she is doing consulting/trainings now.

You would need to define "normal" for anyone to answer that.
But yes, tights are mandatory. From Kindergarten. And shoes need to be burgundy, black or navy.

No booties or fashion boots in school. No smartphones allowed in the building not even for performances. They understand that pple do need smartphones for work but you need an ishur from Tag or your Rav.
Strict rules but reasonable in my opinion.
