A Jewish appliance store was ones advertising that they have one.
I guess call up Jewish appliance stores to see if it still exists

it's normal in my community to kasher dishwashers but I think it's somewhat community dependent

Depends if inside is plastic or not, plastic can’t be kashered
My rabbi said if you order new racks you can make it kosher. You’d have to run the hot cycle several times before use, etc but the racks are expensive (a few hundred) so I decided wasn’t worth it.
Ask your rabbi

My very machmir yeshivish rav told us we can kasher our dishwasher when we moved into our house. We had to wait 2 months first

Some dishwashers are fully stainless steel now , so they can be kashered

I was told that bidieved, when moving in and unsure if it was kosher (previously owned by a Jewish person but uncertain level of relaibility plus they had a non-Jewish cleaning lady unsupervised) we could kasher it by running sanitize cycle empty, but that you can't rely on doing it regularly and once we kashered it we needed to decide if it was going to be meat or dairy and stick with it.
Basically, AYLOR.

How can you kasher plastic racks?
I have a new top of the line dishwasher and the racks are plastic. ( the inside is metal)

Ask your lor. There are differences of opinions. Or you may need to replace the racks

Even if it is allowed, it won’t be allowed officially as a back and forth.
