Looking to help someone coming with teenagers from Israel for the first time for the kids.
Any ideas in the tri-state area that I can send them to do?
I was thinking snow tubing one day.
Maybe they would even drive out if there is enough to do in New Hampshire?
Please help me plan a 1 week itinerary

Not worth the drive to New Hampshire it’s way too far. Snow tubing you can go to upstate ny or Pennsylvania both are more doable. They should go to Manhattan. Lots to do there with teens.

Ideas of what to do in Manhattan?
I live in Brooklyn my whole life but I’m not a goer so I never do all these touring things.
Also has to be something that they won’t need to much English knowledge as the teens don’t really know the language.

Can you give me names of snowtubing places that are good?
I would like to check if they’re open yet.

Snow tubing check camelback, or mountain creek.
Manhattan, walk around towns square, many stores to go into, Empire State Building, Rockefeller center has ice skating and top of the rock, Museum of natural history, Central Park, 9/11 memorial.
Staten Island ferry, Ellis island, Statue of Liberty.
Walk on the main avenues in boro park, flatbush, crown heights, or five towns.

Don't send them to Museum of Natural History. They will pass out from sheer boredom.

If you go snowtubing at Hunter Mountain you might want to check to see if Melour Resort is open and available as that would make it easier if you travel with children since its a kosher hotel (and you can stay there for Shabbos if they have availability). They also have other attractions in the area listed on the website so you can check to see what else your family may be interested in-- https://www.hmkosher.com/local-attractions

They could certainly keep busy for an entire week in NYC, but if they want to venture elsewhere, I love NH in the winter. Google "Ice Castles NH" and you'll see that there's nothing like it. Once there, you can also do snowtubing, snowmobiling, ice skating on a frozen lake, and much more.
As for snowtubing closer to the city, if you're going to do other stuff near Hunter, by all means go there. But if you're only going there for snowtubing, we've found that Blue Mountain in PA offers much better snowtubing - longer, more exhilarating runs with smaller crowds, and depending on traffic, it is no farther than Hunter and can often be a shorter drive as well.

Ice castles look interesting but doesn’t look like they’ll be open when they are here in December.
Still looking for ideas.

What are they into?
If they like Harry Potter then check out the Harry Potter store in NYC-- https://www.harrypotterstore.com/
Or the Harry Potter experience in Westchester-- https://hpforbiddenforestexper.....ster/
They may enjoy indoor skydiving-- https://www.iflyworld.com/west.....local
Governors Island winter village is open for ice skating (plus they can explore the island and the ferry is fun as well)-- https://www.govisland.com/thin.....llage
There is also ice skating in Rockefeller Center, Bryant Park, Central Park, Prospect Park, etc
If you tell us if the teenagers are boys or girls (or both) and what their interests are then perhaps we can guide you better.

No characters….
But otherwise I don’t know so much what they are into.
I am forwarding ideas for the parents to decide.
More ideas are very welcome!
Also if possible places that are cheap/free. I know that is hard in the winter.
I didn’t realize that things like Statue of Liberty, and Empire State Building are so expensive.

Bump
Any more ideas that are open this week?
All the snowtubing places that are open are only for weekends and they are not here then.
Thanks
