Rav asked how long eyelash tint officially last?

In order to answer my shailah if I could tint 10 days before mikvah, I asked the salon they said it lasts 1-2 weeks but she obviously wouldn't know when exactly the tint is completely gone... how does it work ? Anyhow know?

It's supposed to last 4 to 6 weeks but in my experience it starts fading by three weeks and is gone by a month

It may be considered semi-permanent, like gel nail polish. Ask your LOR

I don't know but from what they said that it lasts 1-2 weeks I'm assuming it's not what you guys are taking about?

That's the thing, I do want to ask but I have to have a clear question like "the color lasts 2 weeks and I'm (about) 10 days before mikvah is it too late? " or "it lasts 4-6 wks and I'm 10 days before mikvah is it ok as it'll still be considered fresh" it's different, he'll need to know exact details no?(I have a wedding hence I so want it ...)

It last 4-6 weeks.

Only once have I had it last 2 weeks and it was because they didn’t leave the dye in long enough.

Tell the beautician to leave it in for 15 minutes.

I do it myself at home and it lasts at least 4 weeks

I’m not a rabbi but from previous questions I asked I was told something that lasts more than 3 weeks can be considered “permanent” for Mikveh

This is the one I purchased. It works like at home hair dye but it takes exactly 3 minutes.

Sorry. Eyebrow tint. I didn’t pay attention enough to realize the op was referring to eye lashes.
