She could go on the scholarship, and try hard but not crazy hard- and she'll probably get a mix of As and Bs and it may not really hurt her gpa too much- when u mix it with As from Touro she'll still have a high gpa.

The seminary she goes to is more important for shidduchim than her grades there. As long as she doesn't get in trouble and doesn't actually fail (which truly would be impossible) her grades won't matter for shidduchim. So as long as they are ok enough to get into grad school, it won't really matter if the gpa is a little lower bc of a harder seminary.

My daughter there now. It’s a great place with amazing girls. Super down to earth. Very happy she’s there. Can’t see another place for her. But the work is hard. She gets stressed bec she’s used to perfect grades but I think it’s good for her to learn she doesn’t always have to be perfect. She works hard but still has plenty time to go out with friends, chessed, etc. but she is working more than friends at other places. Sometimes she’s in tears before a report is due etc but she’s learning to find the balance (and take pride in getting her first 70 and even 49 on a test😂). But if she was going theu touro or her actual grades mattered she would prob be much more anxious. Hope that helps

BJJ is too big and maybe too yeshivish for her. And yes, Bnos Avigail is quite different than Bnos Sarah but both seminaries draw nice, oot girls who are not very materialistic. We are in-town with oot mentality, sincerely frum but not yeshivish. We appreciate kind, intelligent people who care about others and the world we live in. We are put-together but not all about appearances. Brand names are not a conversation topic in our home. Does that (choice of seminaries) make more sense now Smile ?

Sounds like you are on the right track (considering Bnos Sara and Bnos Avigail and not BJJ and Bnos Chava)
