There’s both. Oral for the baby and regular cream for the mom.

thrush medication needs to be washed off nipples before nursing. It's a pain.
This you put onto yourself and at the same time it heals the babies mouth. Also helps really fast.
I'm pregnant and I always end up needing it. I'm thinking if I should stock up on it now.
