My kids are in primary and third grade. The third grader at this point wears white shirts and dark pants on Shabbos and my primary boy is begging to only wear that. I think I’m going to let him bec why not let him wear what makes him happy? And in a way it’s easier to shop
I’ll buy short sleeved white shirts that can be bleached (so none of those pretty ones with colored buttons and designs on the collar ).
Where do I buy long lasting pants? Should they be wearing ties if not wearing a suit jacket? If yes wear can I find ties?
My third grader has a suit but rarely wears it.

Does lil legs have for spring? I looked at their clothing at it seemed to just be for younger boys, shorts.

Should I be getting them suits? Or just nice blue/black pants and short sleeved white shirts?

Really depends on the norms where you live. Ask your older one what the other boys at shul are wearing. If you want for Pesach you’ll need long sleeve options as well. I love the ai stone shirts. I’m always getting compliments on them.

I’m not putting my boys in a sweater on top of a shirt in warm weather.

I'm happy to hear. My sil always orders those h&m suit pants for 9.99 and she loves them too. (She has 6 boys)
Somehow when I ordered it, it felt extremely thin and flimsy. I thought it would tear the first day. It actually didn't tear to my surprise but it felt too flimsy. It did not give a look of a fine shabbes pants in my opinion.

Pretty much true to size
My kids don’t have skinny legs but they’re not chubby either
I like how they fit
You can order a few and return what doesn’t fit

Do you also buy the more sporty H & M pants?
I put the corduroy and stretchy slim this season. Both were slim but not too slim. I'm afraid that these will be too wide for my 4 year old.
I guess I can try and return after.

My primary son has suit. Has nice Shabbos pants and button down. Belt. Tie.
I have lil leg Shabbos pants for him to play in if he has a playdate. But for Shul and such he wears suit/nice pants TO pants/sweater. Etc.
