I buy the Poland Spring gallon water. Never had an issue. Past week has a chemical, weird taste. I would say it's a defective case, but new case tastes the same.
Anyone has this?

Yes! Like a plastic taste. The round gallon bottles didn't though. Only the ones with the handle.

Contact the company to ask. Given that the water is supposedly from a natural spring, normal environmental changes such as variations in rainfall at the spring's source may affect the concentration of minerals in the water, which would, in turn, affect the taste.

I never knew water could have a taste until I tasted Fiji water for the first time. Ugh! Absolutely awful. But I haven't noticed any difference in taste in Poland spring.

Also, storage conditions may affect the taste, such as if the bottles were stored in a hot truck or left for a long time in a sunny window or near a heating vent.

Haven't noticed a difference in taste. Maybe it has to do with where it's stored at home or at the supermarket.
