I have a special needs DC with many many therapists and want to show my appreciation now for Purim.
Did you ever get something memorable besides for $$ ?
Please share the nice things you got.

therapist here. a letter or card is more meaningful than any gift. I have saved them all. once I received a drawing from a SN child. Saved all of those, and they warm my heart during difficult times. Gifts don't have the same lasting impact, they're just things.

I always add a written note to it. But being that writing is not my strong point it's kind of just the addition to the gift.

Every single thing I have gotten has been memorable. And I mean that.
It's a very hard job that is often overlooked, and it's really nice to get appreciation in any way, shape or form.
(And of course I understand if people can't give, either because of money or because it's too much to prepare so many MM. I don't judge or treat anyone differently.)

One of his therapist is goint to see him tomorrow then she won't see him until a week after purim.
Is it weird if I send her MM tomorrow?
