On Shabbos. We cut toilet paper. Just recently two of my friends said they just use tissues

I prefer tissues as you don't have to spend time ripping before shabbos.

I always used tissues. Now we have septic so we use toilet paper. But we just cut the whole roll in half down the sides it takes two seconds.

Depends on the bathroom. Some bathrooms can’t handle tissues.

Hack for cutting TP- use a box cutter to slice through the roll. Saves a lot of time!

After the 3rd main drain backup, cut TP.
Saves us a bundle on plumbing issues.

What kind of tissues do you have in the US?
It seems to be much stronger and doesn't dissolve.
Where's the difference in toilet paper and tissue and toilet tissue?
