In this weeks, Bella is on the phone with Miri's Mom and asks her ''How do you know Mrs. Teigman'' and Miri's Mom says She was working with Miri. . You hear a shout and it's obviously Bella's Husband in the background. (Mrs. Teigman's son) who says ''That's her story now? That's a good one''.

No but I think it’s Bella’s mother and Bella is her older daughter who married such a “good man” with major yichus. And she can’t believe that her daughter ended up in the same situation as her…. Which makes sense because that’s what she saw growing up and remember they both like baking.

Me too, but I think in this case it’s more learnt behaviors as opposed to abusive.
there has to be someone who says enough and breaks the cycle. Either by marrying someone from a “normal” situation who forces them to realize how they grew up wasn’t normal or by them realizing how they grew up wasn’t ok.

It did not specifically say that she’s the mother’s mother. It said Aryeh’s mother cut off ties.

I agree
Tons of drama
Bad dialogue and annoying characters
No plot
I still turn to it first but more like it's so bad that it's good. I guess it just has to sell magazines

After they got married?
And if Bella’s maiden name is Teigman wouldn’t she have had to know that as well?!
I like the story. But, for me, this ruins it...it’s too unrealistic and unbelievable.

Obviously teigman could be Bella's mother's maiden name.
They could have made up a story about his grandmother - died, very sick and lives across the ocean, etc.
