Im looking for an easy Unstuffed Cabbage Recipe, with no Kitniyos.
Whats the best substitute for rice that wont taste potato-ey?

I would use cauliflower rice instead of real rice.

Quinoa. Or a bit of mashed potatoes in the meat (you don't taste it).

Ive made it other years w cooked mashed potatoes and I wasnt nuts over it. I may try cauliflower though. Its in the same family as cabbage.

I just use meat and lots of cabbage. I never add rice-year round.

you could grate carrots, cabbage, onions etc and saute. Like an egg roll filling.
