how much is standard pay for people who work in a daycare . I run a daycare I want to know what is standard pay per hour . working part time. 3 hours a day. someone that is married and is in her upper 40's has been a morah for many years with little children.

I hear different prices? anywhere from $21-till $26. is this true? I mean after taxes. what about a sub? how much?

If it’s only three hours a day it’s probably more per hour than If it were 6 hours

How can you compare POST tax?
That is so strange. It depends on your tax bracket and your deductions

You make 45$ an hour? You work full time or as a sub?

$30 an hour for someone with a little experience.

I assume someone with more experience would earn more.

Afternoon hours often pay more than morning hours. Meaning after 2.

I don't think there's a standard pay.
Where is your daycare? Salary depends on location.
I live in Lakewood, I have 25 years experience in childcare, in mu upper 40's, I wouldn't accept the job unless I was very well paid.

What's considered very well paid?

Probably not less than $50...
I'm not looking for a job right now but it depends on how far is daycare from my house, do I want to work only 3 h/day or I'm looking for more hours but that's all that's available ?

I'm in Cleveland and subbing for the basement playgroups for 15 an hour. My main focus is staying flexible for all of my kids' appointments so working few hours for just a little is fine with me since I also have a business I run in the evenings. In Lakewood I'd say double that but that's BEFORE taxes. Depends on whether you're schedule C-ing it or they're legal and paying you via W-2, also.
