How much will you be paying for a non vouchers playgroup for the upcoming school year? Please include the hours & the amount of teachers and kids.
Example: 9 to 3, 2 teachers, 15 kids, 575.

Thanks Snowdrop and darkorange. Huge price difference!
Anyone else able to chime in so I can get an idea of what's normal?

School setting is usually cheaper. I've heard of boys groups, but no girls groups.

I am sending in Flatbush to a legal playgroup in someone’s house. Twelve kids, four teachers (really one Morah and three assistants). My son will be there 32 hours a week and it’s 8/hour which is 1024 a month. No transportation or snacks. Am I overpaying?

I’d say not since you’re paying for the much smaller ratio of 1morah for every 3 kids vs an average of 6-8 kids elsewhere. You are also getting way more hours than the 9-3, 12-3 Friday places which is 27 hours per week. So you’re getting an additional 20 hours per month. I pay $7/hr at a local babysitter now and my toddler doesn’t do anything there asides for eating, sleeping and playing with toys.

That is a fair price for a babysitting group, where you pay per hour.
I'm lucky and paying $7 but your ratio is better. There are no legal playgroups in bp, save for vouchers places that get closer to $1200 (I think). They don't take cash generally bec they make more off the city.

Is 650 for 12 kids and 2 teachers normal for next year? No transportation or diapers, yes snack and lunch.
Things have gone up so much! I paid 380 for my 8 year old, and 4something for the kid on top of this one!

I don't know for sure, but I think yes.
I paid $550 in Sept 2021. So its 2 years later, with crazy inflation. (2020 was $500)
My class was bigger but with a lady for diapers and cleaning, and gave diapers.

Sounds normal. (especially that it's a small class)

I think I'm paying $600 for 15 kids for 2 Morahs sometimes 3.
Snack and lunch no diapers and wipes.
I would love a group of 12 kids to 2 morahs.
