It's a waste to schlep. They need Natives ot crocs or the like that they can use for all sorts of water or rain activities.

DD has a pair of rain booties that she used the past two summers, and will service this year as well.
As they sing "It never rains in the Machaneh....it only POURS".
You absolutely need rain boots or booties. Unless you want to walk around with mud.
