I'm considering various careers to go into. I am much considering becoming a human resource (aka HR) person.

Wondering if this is a good career to go into as a frum woman.

Are the hours flexible enough?

If I end up working for a non jewish company (I'm an out of towner) will I be able to take off for Yom Tov?

Are there frum companies that hire HR people?

It’s very much dependent on the company. Some are very flexible and ok with hybrid work and days off and others are not at all.

Depends on the company and what your level in HR is. It might not be very flexible. DH runs the HR department and it's basically a 24 hour job.

Oh, that's helpful to know. But if I wouldn't be "running" the HR department and did a lower level of HR where it wouldn't be a 24-hour job, do you think its recommendable for me to go into as a frum mother?
