In search of a good seminary that would accept a girl who is dyslexic.
A seminary that doesn't require Hebrew reading/mefarshim skills!
Can't be a place for girls who watch movies and stuff like that.
Very good BY girl.
Looking into places so that she knows where to apply in November.

Kitov and Rinas (look into Rinas, lots of allegations are coming up). Maybe keser chaya tho they really rebranded themselves into an acedemic sem

They don't require ANY mefarshim/hebrew reading skills? Or are they just not as academic as other places?
She really can't read or translate anything so we need to know beforehand of a seminary that would accept that.
I don't know much about Bnos Chava...
What kind of girls go there? Good solid Yeshivish girls?

Bnos Chava is not Yeshivish, and just a little jappy
Try Ki Tov and maybe Bnos Shoshana

I would look into sending her to the sem of her choice and see if her principal can speak to the principal of the seminaries she is interested and explain that this is a special case where she can learns and grow and fit in socially, just how accommodating can they be about her learning only auditoraly. Can she take her tests orally etc

Ateres is known for having tracks to accommodate different learning levels based on textual skills or lack thereof. Mixed crowd, includes plenty of very good BY girls and also girls from diverse backgrounds looking to grow. I would look into that.

Lahav is supposed to be an amazing seminary with high quality girls. While there is alot of learning I dont believe that it is text heavy. note that it ends pesach as opposed to june

My husband's cousin has dyslexia and she just had the MOST AMAZING seminary experience at Ba'er Miriam in Har-Nof directed by Rita Fuchs.
She was in a Ptach class at Central (Yeshiva University girls highschool) in Queens.

Thank you.
Looking at the website now.
Its unclear from the website what type of place it is....
She really needs to be with girls who are like her - Yeshivish, have flip phones, don't so social media, don't watch movies, etc.
What kind of place is Ba'er Miriam??

Then Lahav is not the place for her either. Try Kitov or Bnos Shoshana. The girls are yeshivish and have flip phones. Kitov has an amazing hanhallah and they will work with you. Bnos Shoshana is still new but I know they have girls that struggle academically and they provide tutoring for them.

Are you looking only for options in Israel?
Someone just recommended Bnos Chaim in Lakewood on another thread.
