I’m confused and overwhelmed there are so many different recruiters and I don’t know where to start. I have a high-level position at work and I am looking to transition to a different job. Ive been at my job for many years. I’m also nervous to send out my résumé as, my boss is someone that knows everything about everyone how do I look for a job and retain confidentiality and how do I know which recruiters to use?
Different recruiters specialize in different areas/industries/roles. You can also get a feel if you take a look at their site or see their job postings. It will give a taste of what types of roles they have.
Many know to keep it confidential and you can let them know as well when you speak with them.
