I recently bought an 11" wig in Sary salon for $1900. Maybe there is a sale for the shoulder length now... but It is definitely not $1500 anymore.

When I had money, I had nice shaitels. 25 years into marriage, I'm thankful that I'm fine with $50 to $200 shaitels. They get ruined, ok, bye. I've got plenty of hats and tichels too. Would I LIKE another real shaitel someday? Maybe. But I've got plenty of other bills competing for my now limited funds. I know nothing about shtreimels.
