Has anyone here been to Nashville?? Smokey Mountain? Looking to go to Tennessee in august and was wondering what are some kid friendly things to do there.

Not sure how far Nashville is from the Smokey mountains but I'm fairly certain it's not close. If you're looking for kid friendly attractions check out gatlinberg and pigeon forge; these are very touristy areas with lots of local attractions. The national park has lots of trails which may or may not work for your family depending on your kids ages but there should be several hikes that are doable.
