Kosher bite (Baltimore) has a huge selection of beer by the bottle and other kinds of alcoholic beverages that you can also buy by the bottle.

This in New Jersey you have to go to a specific liquor store and they sometimes have single beers available.

If this is for havdalah this week, you can team up with a few other families and buy a 6-pack.

Not in some states. Maryland for sure doesn't sell beer at gas stations or supermarkets. I don't know where op is located.

Most beer is kosher. Check the bottle when you buy.

Most *unflavored* beer is kosher without a hechsher. Any flavoring added requires hechsher. Microbreweries can be problematic. As another poster shared, star k and crc have lists of kosher beers, which is useful because most don't have hechshers on them.

If it's for havdala, make sure that's what your rav holds. Ours holds grape juice is preferable.
