five towns modern Orthodox school, with a masters, 2k per period taught in a week (so teaching 35 periods a week which is full time is 70k, part time 15 periods a week is 30k etc)

OOT NJ small MO school is 1700 per period in each week.

Thanks, this is helpful.
What are your work hours?
Usually a main teacher isn't calculated by period, so that will be helpful

Anyone else?

I work different hours every year depending on what's going on in my life.
At one point was 8:15-3:30 for 70k. (Five towns)

Now OOT it's 10:30-4 for 50k

But both times included a lunch break plus a prep period every day

When I was full time I was doing both kodesh and chol in middle school.

Part time was middle school kodesh.

Neither one was as a newbie teacher, this was with a nice chunk of experience. (My first job was upper elementary 30k for 8-1 if you're curious)

Thanks. Very helpful. Here they pay way less however those numbers you wrote are exactly on target for what I was trying to negotiate. They couldn't come close. I'm looking on. I know some places pay more than some, iyh will find them

When I moved from long island to out of town I was very blunt with the school I was applying to that I knew they couldn't match what I was making in NY, but I did tell them what I was being paid before.
They are definitely paying me more than some other teachers, but if I held out for what I made in a wealthy in town community I would have no job. If you live in a lower cost of living town with lower tuition, the pay will be less.

Also both were modern Orthodox schools which pay more, and both were more than half time. First was full day- so would be like 35k half day, and second was 3/4 time so would be like 30k for half day.
