Can anyone recommend a course that is not copy tribe? It doesn't start until June, and I'm aching to get fully educated asap!

There’s copy school which is amazing but you need real discipline to get through it.
Brand Story is another great option.
IMO - doing this for quite some time, if you want an edge in the frum market don’t take CT. Many of my clients actually prefer a voice that’s unique and trained in different modalities vs the CT voice.

Seconding this. As a copywriter and when hiring, I try my hardest to avoid CT grads unless they have demonstrated they have a unique voice.

Yes. I'm not a copywriter but go on Linkedin and 90% of the ladies on there are copywriters selling themselves

No. LinkedIn is not an accurate measure of real life. If you work in-house, whether for an agency or a company, it's similar to landing any job, except you need a portfolio in addition to a resume. If you want to freelance, you'll need to market yourself until you build your brand. Or, you can be highly specialized, and people who need that will find you(you do need to do some marketing too, though, but not as much)
I tend to find the only people on LinkedIn are CT grads. See my post above...
