I made a babka dough and don’t think I’ll have time to roll and fill it tonight/tomorrow. Can I freeze it raw in a ball?

You can, but your results may not be that great. Freezing kills off a percentage of the yeast so frozen dough doesn't rise quite as well. You'd be better off punching it down and leaving it in the fridge overnight if you think you'll be able to process it tomorrow.
